About The Role

Founded in 1910 Scudamore's is Cambridge's premier punt tour and boat hire business.We're currently looking for outstanding people to join our management team, offering support in delivering key company goals, overseeing the station operation and helping staff members with their development. 

 

What's involved?

As a Station Supervisor at Scudamore’s your duties will be varied, ranging from overseeing the daily station operations, to being on hand to resolve any staff or customer issues which may arise. Ultimately however, it is really about 5 things:-

  • Co-ordinating the effective and efficient running of our tours and self-hire operations.

  • Ensuring that your team consistently perform to the highest standards, including the delivery of first class customer service.

  • Bringing the best out of your staff by performance management.

  • Fostering a safe working environment on station and on the river.

  • In sum, providing an unforgettable experience for all of our customers.

  • Previous experience of supervising others.

  • Prior experience of working in a customer-facing role.

  • Prior experience of performance management.

  • Flexibility with respect to work hours and an availability to work most weekends.

About Scudamore's:

What’s the package?

  • Competitive pay, based on an hourly rate and shared sales commission.

  • You will work five days out of seven, including weekends and most bank holidays. Weekly working hours vary according to the needs of the business. 

  • 28 days paid holiday per annum (or pro rata equivalent for part-time workers).

  • Based at Cambridge city centre locations.

  • Fixed term contract ending 31st October 2019.
